Tulip Mania!

I've taken so many tulip photos these past few weeks. I hope you won't mind if I share a few more of them with you.

These orange & yellow tulips were magnificent

A very bright and cheery combination!

Up close and personal with the lovely pinks

That pretty fringed tulip keeps jumping in front of the camera!

The pinks and reds again

This picture is for Friday's Child. She likes the tulips closed, so I thought of her when I took this.

I loved seeing these pinks coupled with the yellow of the daffodils

The delicate colors in this double tulip are quite a contrast to the rest of the vivid colors

Buttercup yellow!

The bright blue of the grape hyacinths makes a lovely contrast

While I was lying on my back trying to get this angle, a friendly feline settled herself on my stomach. Such a big help! :)

Our weather has been discouraging this weekend, with rain and cold winds. This afternoon there were even some big fat snow flakes mixing with the rain. It's impossible to get any planting done with all this wet weather we've had recently. Enough already. We need sunshine!
I hope you had a lovely weekend whatever your weather.

Ross says thanks so much for all the birthday wishes.

Can you see the envy in my eyes? They are a little green at the moment.

What an awesome display. I love tulips and yours look fantastic.

Way to go.

Hi, Kerri. Can you see me drooling over your gorgeous flowers? This is the first spring that I have been unable to go outside and work in the garden. One of my many pleasures has always been mowing, planting, and weeding. Can't wait until I'm back doing all those things. Your pictures, as always, are spectacular. What a beautiful display.

Wanted to thank you for your supportive comments during the past several months. They really meant so much to me -- you will never know! I may not have as many flowers blooming in my yard this year, but I'm amazed at all the beautiful blogfriends who have dazzled me with their warm, caring, supportive, and genuinely wonderful expressions of kindness. These comments have kept my spirits up and have aided in my recovery.

How's your new computer working out? I absolutely love mine although I am still trying to get used to it. Husband has worked tirelessly getting mine up and running. He feels awful because he tried to install one of my old hard drives onto the new computer and found it would not work. This drive contained all our photos and now he is unable to access this drive. We are going to ask our computer genius son-in-law to see if he can do anything with it. If he cannot, I will be devastated because there must be thousands of photos saved including old family photos. Here's hoping for the best that we will be able to retrieve them.

I absolutely love tulips and it must be so awesome to have them in all those colours!! The ones I have are mostly red, yellow and some of those orange/yellow combination ones. Your pictures are always so clear and bright, love looking at them over and over again...thank you so much for brightening up my day with them:-)

I feel like I can never come up with the proper adjective for your photos!
You have such talent and such a kind-hearted way of sharing it with us.
I'm sure your feline helper had only the best intentions! (what you won't go through to get a great picture :-)

I really enjoy all your photos, esp the flowers. Someday, I will be a gardener like you!

I don't think it's possible to have too many tulip pics - those first three would fit right in with my hot colors.

Hope Ross had a wonderful birthday.

The delicate double tulip is a revelation, so beautiful! And interesting shot with feline help..it made me realise that close ups are wonderful, but a long shot is good as it gives us the feel of where the plant is growing *makes not to remind self of that* I agree with all the other comments "never too many photographs".

What gorgeous blooms and beautiful photography !!
- makes me realize I need to get my camera into action - and maybe try some more bulbs here. I've had some doffodils in the past but they don't survive if left in the ground.

I never get tired of seeing your flower pictures and I especially like the fringed tulip because I have never seen one in person. Your garden is so well established and mine is pretty new. I marvel when I have just one bloom and look at all of yours...I'd never stop snapping pictures, if I had your garden.

Those tulips are breathtaking and one can never tire of seeing them. In fact, you have so many gorgeous flowers, I would love to see you in a little Dutch bonnet and clogs posing amongst a bed of these delightful flowers. You would do that for me, wouldn't you, Kerri?

I'm glad we live at a time when there are digital cameras, and so nothing to stop any of us from taking picture after picture after picture of beautiful flowers. Thanks for sharing your tulipmania!
