This garden has lovely yellow, pink and purple tulips planted amongst the daffodils. That peony in the foreground has a deep pink flower. It'll be blooming before the end of May!
Another garden where the daffodils are combined with pink and red tulips and some grape hyacinths. That's a very old lilac tree in the background. It needs some attention!
A closer shot of the lovely reds.
Close-up of the pinks in the same garden.
This is such a pretty clump of daffs...I just had to take their photo :) Beyond the tree there are peonys along the front of our yard that I want to move. The soil is too clayey for them and they don't do well here.
Our farm is in Upstate NY and we had a dairy herd until 2000. I grew up in Australia where summers were long and hot, so I like to spend as much time as possible during our short NY summers outside in our gardens soaking up all the warmth I can! My mother was an avid gardener and I inherited the gardening bug from her, for which I am eternally grateful!
