Phenomenal Phlox continued!

Blogger decided that was enough photos for one post, but I'm here to tell it that I AM NOT finished! Other days I've let it have its way, but today I'm fighting back!

I spent way too long deciding which photos to post to let it boss me around today!

A clump of my original pink daylily found a home at the top of this garden. I either never knew the name, or lost it years ago. It looks exactly the same as Catherine Woodbury, so that's what I'm calling it from now on. Strange that I didn't notice the resemblance when I picked out CW at Hawthorn Hill Farm in July. Apparently I'm not very observant!

Dallas Star, one of the new lilies, is close by, amongst the gloriosas.

This was the first garden we dug when we moved into the farm house. The garden was much smaller to begin with....we keep expanding it over the years.
It has hundreds of daffodils blooming in the spring which I periodically dig up and divide.

And there's the little fence garden at the bottom of the driveway.
Now Blogger, I'm done, so you can go and bother someone else!
And I need to go out and do some work in those gardens because the sun is shining and it's a glorious day!
Hope you're all having a great day! Posted by Picasa

Blogger wouldn't let me upload even one photo today! I'm glad you got yours on because I'd much rather look at your beautiful flowers than anything photos I have!

Hi Kerri!
I really wish that I had the time to visit more often, because when I do, I simply am in awe of your wonderful photos. Your gardens are dreamy...and I can beleive that you must so enjoy spending time out there, and using your hands and reaping such beautiful rewards...(I also somehow feel closer to God when I'm gardening). Your pictures are very clear and vibrant, makes me feel like I'm looking through a window.
I hope you have a lovely day...Kali :)

It was just this type of thing that made me start looking at other options for photo hosting. There are plenty out there. You seem to have boundless energy for fighting back, though. Good for you!

While I crawl around the garden with a magnifying glass trying to find the remnants of yet another perennial phlox, yours are absolutely bursting out of the ground. Bet if I do find one in my garden, it will actually be one of yours.

They are simply stunning, Kerri, as are the rest of your flowers. No wonder you are enjoying the opportunity to spend long hours in the garden. After all, where else on earth would you want to be? Apart from here .... lol.

Your boarders looks so good. I like phlox so much, but do not have so much luck with him. And you have so much place to plant ...

I failed to mention that I really liked your butterfly pictures. With all the beautiful flower gardens that you have, I'm sure you have plenty of butterflies now.

Your phlox in beautiful too as well as all of your other wonderful flowers. When my flowers are blooming I spend a lot of time outdoors caring for them and making sure not a weed grows, but now I've given up for a while and it's time to cut some dead stalks down.

Thanks for your prayers and sympathy and thanks too for your happy greetings. I'll be back by Wednesday for the Wordless Wednesday.
My sister-in-law was finally put to rest. Cremation took place yesterday. It was a very painful moment for all of us as she was loved by the family. However, when one loves someone, she/he must also learn how to let go.
I would also like to thank you for the happy greetings for my new grandson.
I'll be back Wednesday for the Wordless Wednesday. As of now, my head seems to be floating on air. I can't seem to find my brains anywhere yet.

Hi Kerrie,
You do have a lot of lovely phlox. Do you have any problems with mildew?
Even though we have very little rain, I had mildew in 2 or 3 of my more shady areas.

Everything looks so nice and colorful.

Hi Kerri, it's lovely to see your glorious gardens, as always.

Hope you and Ross are both enjoying the warm weather and floral displays!

Those phlox look gorgeous. In a small space all that color might be overwhelming, but you have 'scope' to your large flower beds, and such an open background, that it just looks wonderful and exciting.

Do kids still pluck out an individual floret and suck the tiny drop of nectar from the base? I remember doing that with my grandmother's white phlox many years ago.
