A Wedding!

Kylie, our firstborn is getting married on Saturday!

The feelings of parenthood remain steadfast as the years pass, and in our hearts there will always be the remembrance of that sweet, delicate and defenseless little babe placed in our arms not so terribly long ago.

Since that time, she has quickly become strong, and capable of handling her place on this earth. Once a "ballerina" and now a young woman who, among many varied interests, likes to help her father build things......something I would never have predicted!

She has found in Ko a kindred spirit with whom to share her hopes and dreams.

We have great expectations for this young couple, and our hearts will be full of love and pride as we witness their marriage this Saturday.
It will be a very small celebration, with a larger one to follow next June, when Ko's parents will come from Japan to see him graduate from Cornell (my hubby's alma mater) with his PHD in Sociology. Posted by Picasa

Awww Mum! You're so sweet.
Next time I'm going to have to insist that you put in some flattering pictures of me, though!
love you,

How nice, a wedding! I know there will be beautiful flowers, but they probably won't compare to yours! Take lots of photos, but have a good time. These celebrations just don't happen often enough. Good luck to your daugher and your new son in law!

Congratulations to Kylie & Ko and may their marriage be as loving and last as long as yours.

What a beautiful little girl...she has grown into a lovely young woman, Kerri. The pictures are beautiful and your flowers in the backgrown are so lovely and so colorful.

Take plenty of tissues on Saturday, & make sure that Ross has his handkerchief in his pocket...you'll need it.

Congratulations! I dont know what time the wedding is, but I am thinking of you. Distance and time mean little, when love is involved. Blessings on them both.
