The crocus flowers have been especially bright and beautiful this spring….a refreshing splash of color after the drab shades of our long winter.
On cloudy days they remain closed, but when the sun shines they open their pretty petals and smile at the world.
Seeing color in the garden again is a feast for the eyes, a joy to the senses and a blessing for the soul.
This last photo was taken late this afternoon, just before we had a little bit of rain. As you can see, these daffodils are about to burst open. We have a few open and loads more to come. I'll be busy with that camera!
Our temperatures have been perfect for the past few days....about 70ºF (21ºC) today and a little warmer yesterday. Hope you all had a wonderful day!

Goodness! What a difference in your temps now, you've suddenly gone from all that snow to 70F. We are in the low 60's. Enjoy your weekend.

I do not understand him and say: Hä?
He told me from a woman from NY.
I do not understand him again.
She is on the same laditude as we, he said.
I say: Hä? I do not understand what he meen and do my housework.
Than he said: Kerri!!! Kerri from your monitor!!
Monitor? I said. O.k., I'am a little silly and he said: Kerri from the blog!
Now I understand what he meen and also I understand, that he read the blogs. What a husband I have!
I said to him, he can open his own blog if he would like. But he do not like.

I'm wondering now if spring will just bypass us and we'll be right in the middle of summer? The good news is we did have glorious sun yesterday and it's not raining yet today!
Kerri - like Ms Robyn, I've never grown crocuses either. But after seeing your lovely ones, I really must give them a go. I love bulbs (or the flowers, that is) but I hate the fact that I always for get where they are, and just when I see a lovely space to plant something else, there they are - in the way! They must be such a delight to see in your garden after all the cold and snow.

Kerri, what wonderful photos! I love the birds that visit us but don't think I could get a picture of them. The chickadees where having a ball tonight and a hummingbird has arrived. I'll go read some of your earlier postings now.

Like Ms Robyn and Alice, I've never grown crocuses either. I'm not sure it's cold enough here though we even struggle to grow tulips unless they've been fridge-itized.
