Sunshine!

Glorious sunshine!

Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy,
La la,
la la la,
la la la la
Sing with me! (as John Denver used to say)

The temperature outside was 62ºF (16.6ºC) and the sun still shone brightly when I arrived home from school this afternoon. I don’t know what the high temp was today, but it felt like something close to 70ºF (21ºC). Hey Val, lots of degrees going on here :)

ºººººººººººº

The kitty cats were basking in the warm sun by the back door, waiting to be fed. They were happy to feel the sunshine!

The snowdrops were happily nodding their pretty white heads, enjoying the sunshine.

Zoey had to get into the picture :)

The little nuthatch was happily feeding in the sunshine!

I’m happy to feel the sunshine!
Can you tell? :)
Spring is springing this week. Finally! Yippee!

Great pictures. Spring is on its way in our area also. I am glad, I am not a winter person.

Bottle of Sunscreen on its way over - sounds like you could need it.

How exciting it must be to experience that wonderful warmth and glowing sunshine after such cold gloomy weather. I can understand the cats all lying around soaking up the warmth.

Hope you gloves and other gardening tools are all in good working order because I think they are going to be given a real workout very soon. At least, I hope so!

About 26ºC here today (aren't we all so clever now ººººººººº!)

Kerri, you sound like you're in a fabulous mood! Must be all that spring in the air.

Gorgeous photos of the local flora and fauna!

Beautiful sunshine. But when you don't winter season, you would wish the sun would tone down its heat a bit.

We can certainly feel your happiness. Beautiful pictures, and beautiful little nuthatch. He looks like he was posing for you. Love your kitty cats, especially the ones with the funny toes. Can't wait to start working in the yard again. Our grass needs mowing already.

Kerri,
It is pouring rain (42º) here today (still!) We do get breaks, but not much sun on those days.
Love John Denver, love sun, love all your kitties!
Lucky you,

Great, great pictures and I see that you're a cat lover with about 7 cats (at least that's what I counted in the picture). We have 7 cats too.

I did a post on cats today, as a followup on Motherkitty and Somershade.

It's been so warm outside that I'm behind on reading blogs and trying to catch up.

I was just going to comment on all your degree signs, and then I saw that you were well aware of what you're doing. Yesterday in Melbourne it got to 30º, which was 3º more than the predicted number of º. That's pretty warm, youº? (say it out loud, might make more sense)

Love the woodpecker!

Hello Kerri...
Thanks for your email... How lovely to see such a great selection of photographs. of course I love the cats. How lucky you are to have so many, but I guess having the farm makes it easier and they obviously have their uses. Your bird pictures are lovely too. I nver seem to get close enough to take good bird pictures, I usually scare them off too soon.
Hope your husband is feeling better.
Its good to see that you have signs of spring at last. Its been a long winter for us this year. Just wish we'd get a bit of sunshine, its been rain, rain and more rain! Take care. Lots of Luv - Marion
